Never been to a book launch? Well, now’s your chance! Forget the chapter reading and lackluster group discussion – expect free entry, live music, thought-provoking conversations on love and damn good food.

Hosted by the multi-talented Fattima Mahdi, she will be introducing to the world her first book called “Love Don’t Come Easy,” and offering a fresh perspective on the ways in which we have socially evolved through technology and the affect this has on the romantic relationships we form. When? One Love African Bar & Restaurant in Msida, Malta on Wednesday January 31st from 7pm ‘til late.

Fattima’s writing journey began with her well-established blog of five years called ThoughtsFromTheBalcony that has covered topics such as political issues, contemporary culture and mental health problems found in society today. Her aim is to spark conscious thought and initiate debate amongst Millennials, which is also a main concept of the launch party. “Love Don’t Come Easy” is a book that will get people talking about how love is changing and how we are managing it, on and offline.

Aside from her blog, Fattima is a professional roller skater, conscious rapper and an active contributor for Truth Theory, an online magazine with 1.5 million followers.

Hear her rap that goes very smoothly with the feeling of the book:

Expect to hear people talking about all of the above and more at her mid-week party where you can come play a variety of classic games, such as Twister and Jenga, debate, network or simply sip on a cocktail and watch it all unfold. Can you feel the love already?

Fattima’s book is now available on Amazon and you can also grab a signed copy at the launch for €12.99.
