On the first of May, Catania sees 48 hours of techno, rap, reggae and drum and bass, all thanks to One Day Music Festival.
When & Where?
From 10AM May 1st until dawn of May 2nd, there will be non-stop music on the Playa di Catania, a beautiful Sicilian beach with view on the city and Mt. Etna looming in the distance.
In it’s 11th year, the festival is now expecting over 25,000 ravers with two stages and big names from various parts of the international music community. The idea grew from a barbeque in 2009 hosting local bands, and now it’s the kick-start of May in Sicily, the start of better weather, sunnier times.
One Day Lineup
Electronic music fans will find home at the Sundance Arena where global acts such as Maceo Plex, Ben Klock, Dixon and Roman Flugel will be playing. Being in Sicily you will get the chance to hear the local Phunkadelica play to a home crowd. To see such acts in one day at such a ridiculous price is unmissable.

The Spring Arena will have an alternative vibe, focusing on Italian rap such as Nitro, Dark Polo Gang and L’Elfo. Not to miss are Sir David Rodigan, a reggae music master and Black Sun Empire, a notorious name in the drum and bass world.
