Operations Coordinator @ Breakaway Music Festival

Location: Nashville, TN office preferred. Individuals able to work from our other office locations may be considered (Los Angeles, CA or Columbus, OH).

Role: “The Operations Coordinator at Breakaway Music Festival, Inc. will play a crucial role to support a smooth production across multiple cities and venues by organizing information, tracking the festival’s needs, and communicating important business to the internal and external teams.

The ideal individual is highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. With the critical thinking skills to execute tasks independently during festival productions. You will be a key part of the team, working closely with other internal and external teams to deliver an unforgettable experience for festival-goers.”

Experience:

“REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-3 years of experience in Event / Project Coordination, or similar field.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office and G Suite/Google Workspace.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Willingness to work in various outdoor conditions during festivals.
  • Ability to travel 12+ weeks/weekends per year to festival sites and company offices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in event management, arts management, or operations.
  • Festival and/or live event operations experience a plus.
  • Event Advancing Software, or project management software experience (i.e. Lennd, Asana, Airtable, Monday.com, ect.).”

Lead, Songwriter & Publisher Partnerships @ Spotify

Location: Nashville

Role: “As part of the Songwriter & Publisher Partnerships team within the Music Team at Spotify, you will develop, build, and maintain Spotify’s key relationships with the songwriter and publishing industry globally. You will develop industry leading tools and build innovative opportunities and global campaigns for partners. The work will involve close collaboration with many of Spotify’s key cross-functional teams including Label Partnerships, Artist Partnerships, Editorial, Music Marketing, Product, Licensing, Legal, Product and more.”

  • “You have an extensive network of contacts in the publishing & songwriting worlds with proven ability to build and maintain partnerships and effectively manage relationships with senior executives.
  • You have deep knowledge of digital music and streaming; key partners, business models, marketplace, competitors, and creative opportunities.
  • You have a deep understanding of music publishing, from creative development to digital music rights and copyright admin.”

Director of Special Events Sales @ Live Nation Entertainment

Location: Remote, Virginia

Role: “As a Director of Sales, proactively solicit, sell, detail and execute Special Events at indoor and outdoor venues in Virginia Beach.

  • Sales generation – maximize revenue while developing long-term relationships with clients (both local and national)
  • Monitor changes in the sales / special events industry and develop strategies to improve and adjust to those changes
  • Evaluate/identify potential business from new clients for both local market venues as well as Live Nation’s portfolio of opportunities”

Experience:

  • “Minimum of five years sales experience in the hospitality industry
  • 3+ years of team leadership experience
  • Working knowledge of local and regional markets, restaurant and venue operations”
