Head of Programme, Most Wanted: Music Convention @ Berlin Music Commission

Location: Berlin

Role: “The MW:M programme team brings the most relevant and inspiring people and topics to stage. Your role as a Head of Programme will be to:

  • Lead a team of approximately 4-5 more Programme Managers/Curators and Speaker Relations Managers,
  • Identify the most pressing and important issues, challenges, technologies and business models in the music and creative industries of today and tomorrow,
  • Analyse the implications of global and local societal trends for the music and creative industries”

Experience:

  • “You provide expert knowledge in the European and international music, tech and creative industries and are well aware of its current changes and challenges.
  • You are well connected within the music and creative industries and are familiar with its relevant ecosystems and latest trends.
  • You are passionate about creative markets and marketing, you think outside the box when it comes to developing interesting topics and formats for the conference and you go the extra mile for high profile stories and speakers.”

About Berlin Music Commission: “The Berlin Music Commission organises and connects players from all areas of the music industry and is their mouthpiece to politicians and other industries. Through active networking, we combine differences to unlock new creative and economic potential. This is how we jointly develop long-term projects that make the players fit for the requirements of an increasingly digitalised world and contribute to the professionalisation of the music industry.”

Record Label Intern @ Bright Antenna Records

Location: Mill Valley, CA

Role: “Bright Antenna is looking to hire a part-time paid intern to assist in our office. Main tasks will be social-media based, but we will work with the individual to craft this position to build on their own strengths and interests. Excellent opportunity for current college students or someone new to the workforce who would like to get a feel for the music industry.

The intern will do general office / administrative tasks as well as help manage our social media strategy and creative for social media posts, and will have the opportunity to learn about the music business by sitting in on our weekly team meetings and assisting the 3 managing partner executives and other team members in our office.”

Experience:

  • “High school degree required
  • Proficient in computer skills, internet research, etc.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to also work independently
  • Eagerness to help and willingness to learn from others”
