Creative Coordinator @ Kobalt Music

Location: London

Role: “As the Creative Coordinator, you’ll be working alongside the London A&R/Creative team in a client-facing role, assisting with everything from scheduling meetings and managing calendars to coordinating events and managing two studios.

Reporting to the Head of Creative UK & GSA, this is a London based position requiring you to be in the office 4 days per week. Your role will be instrumental in supporting the creative team’s vision and ensuring the smooth flow of operations in Kobalt’s fast-paced and dynamic environment.”

Experience:

  • “You have a proven track record of working to strict deadlines in a creative and client facing environment handling scheduling, coordinating meetings as well as managing a variety of administrative tasks.”
  • “You have excellent IT and tech skills proficient in using both Mac and PC as well as Google Workplace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel etc.).”
  • “But most importantly, you have a love of music and a strong desire to work in a creative team at a music publisher working closely with some of the greatest talent in the world.”

Creative A&R Intern @ Sony Music Publishing

Location: New York

Role: “What You’ll Do:

  • Research unsigned songwriters and breaking artists via streaming DSPs, and provide a weekly report to the A&R team.
  • Help with administrative needs that include, but are not limited to, completing daily tasks for the executive team, allocation of receipts/folios for expense reports, and organizing databases with updated information.
  • Upload songs into our PITCH database
  • Create information blurbs and release playlists for signed songwriters
  • Compile all new releases by US SMP songwriters on New Music Fridays to provide to team
  • Listen to demos from SMP songwriters to provide creative ideas for session ideas and pitching opportunities.
  • When applicable, attend NY concerts and showcases, as well as studio sessions.”

  • “Passionate and knowledgeable about the music industry and A&R Music Publishing
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail”

Universal Music Group 2025 Summer Internship Program

Location: Across the United States

Program Overview:

“The Universal Music Group Internship Program is an immersive opportunity designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to a career in the music entertainment industry.”

Program Eligibility:

  • “Currently enrolled at an accredited two or four-year college/university in the United States, pursing an undergraduate, graduate and/or law degree
  • Graduating between Spring 2025 – Fall 2027
  • Have access to housing and transportation within the designated city (We do not offer housing accommodations)
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States and will not require sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future (e.g., H1-B, OPT, etc.)
  • Commit to 20 – 40 hours per week (based on individual business area)”
