Featured Roles: Music Industry Jobs December 2024

Marketing Intern @ Paradise City Festival

Location: Brussels

Role: “We’re on the hunt for vibrant marketing interns to join the dynamic Paradise City team as we gear up for our highly anticipated 2025 10-year anniversary edition. If you’re fueled by a passion for electronic music and have a degree in marketing or event management, this could be your chance to embark on an exciting internship with one of the greenest electronic music festivals in the world.

Duration and commitment: This internship is at least six months long, three or four days a week, starting in January 2025 (or earlier if you desire). Weekly hours are flexible and negotiable, but a commitment of at least two working days per week is required. The workload will intensify as we approach the festival date, culminating in a full-time, overtime, and on-site commitment between June 23 and June 29. This is a paid internship – compensation will depend on previous experience and availability. Successful collaboration opens the door to long-term engagement opportunities.”

Experience: “We are looking for someone who has the following:

  • Drive and ambition to work behind the scenes of Paradise City 2025 but also on Paradies Garten 2025 in Austria.
  • An excellent understanding of today’s electronic music scene and social media dynamics.
  • Enthusiasm to learn more about marketing strategies, including ticketing.
  • Basic knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator & Google Analytics is a plus.

US Latin Music Programmer @ Amazon Music

Location: Miami

Role: “The US Latin team is a vibrant and diverse team focused on constantly improving music fans listening and entertainment experiences from music programming to culture driven activations including music, podcasts, livestreaming, merch and more!

Do you have a deep knowledge of Latin music and it’s wide variety of styles and eras, both contemporary and classic? Do you also have your finger on the pulse of the current charts and trends, and demonstrate an understanding of what makes a young music fan tick? Then you could be the right candidate to lead our programming efforts to build and grow an immersive and customer-obsessed Music Streaming Service.”

Experience:

  • “3 years of work experience in Latin music. programming, music supervision, editorial, or A&R.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English written and oral communication.
  • Encyclopedic knowledge of all aspects of Latin music.
  • In-depth knowledge across a range of Latin music styles, and of current trends and history in both music and the music industry.”

Head of Artist and Labels Partnerships, Southern and Eastern Europe @ Spotify

Location: Milan

Role: “As part of the Southern and Eastern Europe Artist and Label Partnerships (ALP) team within the Music Team at Spotify, you will be responsible for leading a team to nurture and cultivate partnerships with the region’s labels while implementing impactful initiatives and campaigns.  With the objective to ensure that key artists, managers, and labels see Spotify as the #1 partner for artist development and monetization, you will lead Spotify’s efforts with labels and key industry collaborators as a senior member of the Label Partnerships team in SEE.”

Experience: “For the Head of ALP role, we seek a proven industry leader based in Milan with a strong music and technology background, experience fostering senior industry partner relationships and is a proven people manager, with a record of cultivating a culture of teamwork and collaboration. This leader must be able to prioritize, multi-task, and manage a team that is building, operating, and driving complex projects and campaigns.”
