Mo Bó was born in Havana, Cuba. He began working in a local radio station in 1999 as a promoter of events and hip-hop, gaining experience in the field and knowledge of alternative musical genres.
In 2008 he moved to London where he began his first steps as a DJ for the “Movimientos” project, directed by Cal Jader where he was able to learn about the Latin underground scene and work with exceptional artists such as Solar System, Kumar Sublevao Beat, Lokandes , London Lucumi, Novalima, Wara.
He moved to Sicily in 2012 where he created the “Palenque” project whose mission is to expand AfroLatin music beyond conventional genres by representing artists who are bringing new fusions of music to the stage, including artists with African, Andean and Caribbean, from popular roots, jazz, afro, Latin and even more electronic and experimental.
