Sean Rickett

Merit-Based Selections: Sean Rickett kicks off his Monthly Series with a house exploration and a mix of spontaneity.

Merit-Based Selections with Sean Rickett

In his first episode, Sean Rickett starts off with giving us a feel on what’s to come by including a quote taken from Brubeck “it’s time jazz musicians led the public into a more adventurous rhythm.” Further into the set, he features tracks from Luke Dean, Menta Music, Daniel Orpi, Trilogy Inc., and more.  This mix is one of his many more to come with different exploration of the many genres like dubstep, techno, acid, jungle.

Reflections of moods

Rickett is dedicated to producing a monthly hour-long track mix. These will reflect his moods, resulting in spontaneously producing an unplanned merge of soulful and energetic songs.

One of Malta’s most versatile DJs

Rickett has played sets at Glitch Festival since 2018 with ample opportunities to mix at Liquid Club and Earth Garden. Rickett finds inspiration in DJs such as Acidulant, Gordon Flash, Owen Jay as well Dave Space.

Sean’s fun and experimental mix has us already waiting for next month. You can also catch him at the Blank Gozo Karnival party in Gozo playing alongside Scibi & Owen Jay.
