Drum and bass heads, brace yourselves, UK heavyweight promoter Worried About Henry (WAH) is landing in Malta for one hell of a DnB takeover on the 5th-7th of September.
Worried About Henry, one of the UK’s most influential drum and bass promoters, is exporting its’s brand along with a serious lineup of talent that could change the face of Malta’s festival season. WAH has long been a force in the UK scene, known for throwing high-octane shows featuring global DnB legends like Andy C, Shy FX, Wilkinson, and Hybrid Minds.
Now, they’re making their mark internationally, with WAH Malta becoming the next playground for their bass-fueled chaos. Tickets for the full weekend are in their final release and will run you north of 250 euro.
WAH Malta brings the UK underground to The Rock
Even though there’s a new festival announced on an almost weekly basis throughout the summer months in Malta, Worried About Henry (WAH Malta) is one that truly stands out for us. As far as festivals go in on the island, it’s vary rare that we can look through a lineup poster so stacked and as precise as a surgeons scalpel. WAH is also very well known for tight sound engineering, and an atmosphere that would turn an antibassite, into a true DnB head.
A perfect storm of bass and sun

WAH Malta is shaping up to be a three-day sensory overload, with over 50 acts spread across five venues and boat parties where sun-drenched coastlines meet late-night basslines. If you’ve already got a ticket then you’re in for what could be the best festival in Malta this year. If you haven’t, we highly suggest that you sort your life out.
We highly recommend that you take in as many acts as possible but here’s a few that we will in no doubt we’ll be present at.
- Bou – Manchester’s jump-up king bringing high-energy heat and fan-favorite anthems
- Koven – Electrifying duo fusing epic melodies with pounding DnB drops
- Shy FX – Jungle pioneer still smashing sound systems with timeless grooves
- LSB & DRS – A soulful producer-MC duo delivering deep liquid DnB
- Skepsis – Bringing UK bass chaos with deep wobbles and dirty rhythms
- Songer – Sharp lyricist blending UK rap with gritty DnB flows
- Delta Heavy – Powerhouse production duo known for genre-bending sets
- Friction – Veteran DJ and Elevate Records boss with high-speed, seamless mixing
- Eva Lazarus – Vocal powerhouse bringing reggae, soul, and DnB energy to the stage
WAH Malta injects a shot of DnB adrenaline
While Malta’s music scene has more of a buzz towards techno and house, we’ve seen growing interest in heavier bass events over the past few years, WAH’s arrival on the island could really open up the scene.
Malta has always held the status as a hub between Europe, Africa, and the Middle East leading to it’s diverse set of genres, events and festivals. As the island’s offerings expand and develop, it soon could add DnB hub to it’s growing scene. At least we sure hope so.
